Mrs. Raizel Zirkind, wife of famed sofer Rabbi Eliezer Tzvi Zev Zirkind a”h, and matriarch of a large Lubavitch family passed away on Tuesday, 29 of Iyar, 5781.
She was 92 years old.
She is survived by her children Gershon Zirkind – Montreal, Canada; Shaina Rochel Schmidt – Yerushalayim, Eretz Yisroel, Shaza”k Zirkind – Crown Heights; Yaakov Mendel Zirkind – Baltimore; Yehuda Michoel Zirkind – Crown Heights; Shmuel Yosef Zirkind – Toronto, Canada; Meir Zirkind – Weston, FL; Chana Rissel Moscowitz – Crown Heights; Chaim Nachman Zirkind – Boston, MA; Dovid Zirkind -Crown Heights; and Chinka – Toronto, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rabbi Eliezer Tzvi Zev Zirkind a”h, and her sons Rabbi Yehoshua Shlomo Zirkind, and Rabbi Yitzchok Zirkind.
The levaya will take place on Wednesday.
