Mrs. Malka Rosenfeld, matriarch of a large Lubavitcher family and wife of Rabbi Yossel Rosenfeld, executive director of Oholei Torah, passed away.
Mrs. Malka Rosenfeld, matriarch of a large Lubavitcher family and wife of Rabbi Yossel Rosenfeld yblcht”a, executive director of Oholei Torah, passed away on Monday night, 9 Iyar, 5782.
She was 83 years old.
Born to Reb Mordechai Duber and Bluma Leah Lokshin, Mrs. Rosenfeld was a long time mechaneches of young children and a most devoted mother of a large Chabad family.
She is survived by her children Rabbi Menachem Mendel Rosenfeld – Montreal, Canada; Mrs. Rivkah Grossbaum – Stony Brook, Long Island; Rabbi Yitzchok Rosenfeld – Toronto, Canada; Mrs. Shterny Fogelman – Los Angeles, California; Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld – Melbourne, Australia; Rabbi Sholom Rosenfeld – Crown Heights; Mrs Chana Konikov – Roslyn, Long Island; Mrs. Nechama Dina Katz – Crown Heights, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Mrs. Rivka Wilhelm – Crown Heights; Mrs. Sara Schanowitz – Crown Heights; Mrs. Tzipi Sufrin – London England; Mrs. Miriam Cunin – Los Angeles, CA; and Zalman Lokshin – Crown Heights.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 1:30 pm at Shomrei Hadas, 2:30 pm at Oholei Torah – 667 Eastern Parkway, 2:45 at 770 Eastern Parkway and 3:45 at Montefiore Cemetery.
