Mrs. Genia Morosow, a beloved mother from Crown Heights who served as a sheitel macher in the community, passed away after battling a terrible illness.

Mrs. Genia Morosow, a beloved mother from Crown Heights passed away on Wednesday, 29 Adar I, 5782.

She was 59 years old and battled a terrible illness in recent years.

Mrs. Morosow served as a sheitel macher in Crown Heights, working in her private salon she named ‘Genias’.

She is survived by her husband Rabbi Mendel Morosow and their children Chony Morosow and Chana Morosow.

She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Tamar Hilel, and siblings Mendel Hilel – Montreal, Canada; Rochi Leverton-Rotenstreich – Crown Heights; Saadi Hilel – Hollywood, Florida; and Sarit Vogel – London, England.

The family requests that her mother, Mrs. Hilel, not be notified.

The levaya will be held on Thursday, leaving Shomrei Hadas Chapels at 11:00 AM and passing by 770 at 12:00 PM.

The Morosow family will be sitting shiva at 762 Empire Blvd (corner Troy Ave) #5F.
