Mrs. Esther Freundlich, wife of Reb Moshe Freundlich a”h and longtime member of the Lubavitch community in Stamford Hill, passed away on Tuesday, 3 Teves.

Mrs. Esther Freundlich, wife of Reb Moshe Freundlich a”h and longtime member of the Lubavitch community in Stamford Hill, passed away on Tuesday, 3 Teves, 5782.

She was 73 years old.

Esther grew up in Denmark and was part of a very prominent Yekishe family. As a young girl living in Denmark, even before she became Lubavitch, she was in contact with the Rebbe who consoled her when her father passed away.

After her marriage to Reb Moshe Freundlich, they settled in London and was part of the Lubavitch community in Stamford Hill for close to 50 years.

She raised a beautiful family of children and grandchildren in the spirit of רוח ישראל סבא. She was a tremendous baalas chesed, with an open home as well as being very passionate about maintaining the highest standard of tznius, influencing friends and family alike.

She is survived by her children Chaim Freundlich – London; Daniel Freundlich – Crown Heights; Rus Brocho – London; Binyomin Mordechai Freundlich – Crown Heights.

She was predeceased by her son Shloime [Bundy] Freundlich a”h.
