Mrs. Dusye Rivkin, a longtime prominent resident of Crown Heights who raised a large Chabad family, passed away Sunday, 4 Nissan.
She was 93 years old.
Mrs. Rivkin was born in the town of Charkov, Ukraine to famed Bubbe Hinda and Zeide Mendel Deitch. She was a prominent figure in the Crown Heights community for many decades, where she raised a large Chabad family.
She is survived by her children Chana Gorowitz – Crown Heights, Zelig Rivkin – New Orleans, Louisiana, Yosef Rivkin – Karmiel, Eretz Yisroel, Rochel Leah Brook – Crown Heights and Sima Karp – Crown Heights.
