Ever since Mr. Sami and Charlotte Rohr z”l first met with Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky to establish Chabad in Bogota, Colombia, the Rohr family has been inspired by the Rebbe’s care for every Jew everywhere. Mr. Rohr has carried on his parents’ legacy of support and devotion to the Jewish people and the Rebbe’s vision, creating a transformative legacy of his own through his passionate commitment and generosity, while inspiring many to engage, partner and secure a brighter Jewish future.
Over the past four decades, the Rohr family has partnered with Chabad-Lubavitch in establishing centers serving Jewish communities, educational centers and Chabad Houses. Mr. Rohr serves as chairman and principal benefactor of Chabad on Campus International, the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI), and dozens of programs and initiatives of Chabad-Lubavitch headquarters.
