Mothers Make Menorah Matchboxes with Young Talmidim
Mothers of Oholei Torah visited the Cheder classrooms to make personalized menorah matchboxes together with the young talmidim, adding a hands on start to the upcoming Yom Tov.
As the Yeshiva moved straight from the uplifting energy of Yud Tes Kislev into the light and joy of Chanukah, the Oholei Torah Mother’s Committee brought Chanukah spirit to Cheder with a creative craft experience that helped set the tone with a hands-on project that brought smiles to every classroom.
Mothers from each class visited Pre 1A through Grade Five to create a meaningful craft together with the talmidim, guiding them as they designed custom matchboxes for their menorah lighting.
The activity blended creativity with excitement for the upcoming Yom Tov, giving the talmidim a chance to prepare something personal that they could proudly use at home. The warm presence of the mothers added a special touch, as the Chanukah spirit began to fill the halls of Oholei Torah.
