Tonight: ‘Mothering Majesty’ Will Celebrate Rebbetzin Chana

On Tuesday, Chof Ches Teves, Junior N’Shei Chabad will be hosting Mothering Majesty, an event celebrating the life and legacy of Rebbetzin Chana in honor of her birthday.

On Chof Ches Teves, January 9th, the Junior N’Shei Chabad will be hosting Mothering Majesty, an event celebrating the life and legacy of Rebbetzin Chana in honor of her birthday.

The event boasts a line up that would bring true nachas to the Rebbetzin. Mrs. Esther Sternberg, Mrs. Ita Broh, Mrs. Chaya Eliav and Mrs. Chana Lifshitz will be offering abbreviated talks surrounding the three very powerful mitzvos characterized by what the Rebbe said his mother’s name contained– Challah, Niddah and Hadlakos Neiros.

The Rebbe promoted these three essential and foundational mitzvos particular to the Jewish woman and manifested their importance through campaigns that can be found in sichos such as Chof Ches Elul 5739, Yud Zayin Sivan 5740 and Vov Tishrei 5743. Women should expect to feel empowered in their role as akeres habayis and raising their children על טהרת הקודש- soldiers bringing Moshiach.

As the mainstay of the home, Rebbetzin Chana mothered our Rebbe, showing us true royalty personified. It is through her example that all of us as mothers can model how to be b’nei Chabad and show our children reach their spiritual potential through our Torah homes.

In addition to the powerful voices speaking to these mitzvos, there will be a delicious buffet and live music with harpist Mushky Lipskier. The Junior N’shei hopes this event will draw as many community members as possible to show solidarity and reverence for the mother of our Rebbe and in the zechus of this event help us all draw closer to the coming of Moshiach now!
