‘Moshiach Marketplace’ Capitalizes on Eretz Yisroel Interest

A new resource marketplace by Merkos 302’s Moshiach Office, helps shluchim, educators, and parents highlight Eretz Yisroel at this year’s Moshiach Seudah.

On the last day of Pesach, communities around the world will gather for a meal filled with song, stories, and anticipation. Tables are set with matzah and wine, and voices rise in niggunim about the future redemption.

This year, many of those conversations will naturally turn to Eretz Yisroel.

As news from Eretz Yisroel continues to dominate headlines, Jews everywhere are thinking more deeply about the meaning of resilience, redemption, and the future of the Jewish people. The Moshiach Seudah, instituted by the Baal Shem Tov and emphasized by the Rebbe, offers a moment to reflect on that future together.

“With everything happening in the world right now, people are asking questions about Eretz Yisroel and Geulah,” says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302. “The seudah gives communities the opportunity to explore these topics from a Torah perspective, together with their communities.”

For many shluchim, the Moshiach Seudah falls at the end of the year’s busiest stretch. Between Seder preparations and programming, the seudah itself doesn’t always get the proper attention and preparation it deserves.

To make preparation easier, the Moshiach Office has assembled a complete library of practical materials in one place through The Festival of the Future Marketplace, a collection of ready-to-use resources for Moshiach Seudah programs in communities and homes.

This year marks 40 years since the Rebbe called for the expansion of Moshiach Seudah: ‘The minhag of Moshiach’s Seudah, as well as all the aspects of Moshiach connected to the last day of Pesach, should be publicized and disseminated to all circles, and it should include all types of Jews.’

“It’s an appropriate time to widen the circle of invitees,” says Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, Director of the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302. “The resource marketplace is designed to help every community have what they need to make the experience resonate.”

Available resources include:

  • Optimal Life! Moshiach Seudah Program — A complete program for shuls and groups, with engaging art-based handouts for participants. The Leader’s Handbook includes a content guide packed with insights, stories, and songs, a curated shorter version for tighter schedules, a Yizkor/Shachris sermon, and resource lists.
  • DIY Moshiach Seudah Guide (Chabad.org) — A step-by-step guide for families celebrating at home, with a supply list, stories, teachings, and everything needed for an uplifting experience.
  • Tut Altz Kids Activity Pages — Yom Tov–friendly creative projects connected to the theme of Moshiach, designed to keep younger participants engaged while parents farbreng.
  • Seder Nigunim Booklet — Translations and explanations for nigunim of the Rebbeim, helping families and communities connect more deeply to the songs they sing.
  • Acharon Shel Pesach Brochure — An educational introduction to the meaning of Acharon Shel Pesach and the custom of the Moshiach Seudah, in clear, accessible language for newcomers.

Additional materials are still in development, including the Ultimate Moshiach Songbook, a forthcoming collection of Moshiach-themed songs from across the world of Jewish music.

Together, these tools help communities transform the final hours of Pesach into a table filled with conversation, music, and hope for the future when the promise of the holy land and the hope of redemption will be completely revealed.

Resources and downloads are available at The Festival of the Future Marketplace. The online store closes on Monday, 5 Nissan (March 23).

Organizers and community leaders can also connect with others planning their events through the Moshiach Seudah Exchange WhatsApp group.
