As the snow fell, Moscow’s Jewish community celebrated the joyous wedding of Moshe Mogiliansky with the daughter of Rabbi Yisroel Feldsherov, a member of Russia’s extensive kashrus network and lecturer at Moscow’s Jewish university.
Moscow’s large Jewish community all came together to celebrate the wedding of Moshe Mogiliansky with the daughter of Rabbi Yisroel Feldsherov, a member of Russia’s extensive kashrus network, and lecturer at Moscow’s Jewish university.
The Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar was the mesader kiddushin, as he accompanied the choson since his arrival in Moscow as a child, guiding him throughout his years as a student in the community’s various educational institutions, all the way up until his Rabbinical ordination and certification as a shochet.
The wedding was held with great joy at Moscow’s Triumph banquet hall, with the dancing lasting into the wee hours of the night. The choson was walked to the chuppa by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Goldberg, Rosh Yeshiva of Moscow’s Yeshiva Gedola.
The Sheva Brachos were hosted by families from the community who all felt that this was their personal simcha.
