Talmidim from Cheder Lubavitch Morristown and bochurim from the Yeshiva who joined the “mishmar” study program throughout the past year enjoyed a trip and bbq as a grand finale.
Over the past yeshiva year, the bochurim and talmidim joined together once a week to study after school hours in the yeshiva. Those that excelled in the program were treated to an end-of-the-year treat this week.
The group first went to an escape room, where they enjoyed cracking the codes and escaping before the time ran out.
They then headed to a pool for swimming, followed by a stop in a 7/11 for slurpies and treats.
The day concluded with a banquet bbq at Chabad Lifetown in Livingston, N.J, headed by Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum. During the banquet, each talmid and bochur received a neck pillow as a memento and the talmidim who scored highest on the “mishmor leader board” over the year were given certificates of recognition.
