Montreal Yeshiva was proud to take home three trophies from this year’s Sefer Hamitzvos Chidon. The students were treated to a celebration of the chidon and an award ceremony for their school’s winners.

The grand finale of the Sefer Hamitzvos chidon is the culmination of many months of learning and studying a dedicated curriculum that focuses on the facts, information, and reasons behind all 613 Mitzvahs.

This year, Montreal Yeshiva was proud to take home three trophies. Menachem Mendel Karp in grade five won a bronze medal. Menachem Mendel Mockin also in grade five won a silver medal and Aryeh Mockin in grade seven won a bronze medal.

86 boys were awarded the beautiful Chidon plaque, and 12 boys even received the special Chidon glass trophy for scoring over 90 on the Iyun final.

To celebrate the 112 students of Montreal Yeshiva all joined together to celebrate the Chidon and host an away ceremony for its winners.

The ceremony was arranged by Rabbi Shmuel Vaisfish, the Chidon coordinator at Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Montreal.
