Montreal, known for its unwavering tradition of holding a parade every year regardless of the day of the week or weather conditions, celebrated another beautiful event coordinated by community activist Rabbi Dovid Cohen of Chabad Lubavitch Youth Organization.
The event was organized in conjunction with the shluchim of Beth Chabad Cote S-Luc, Rabbi and Mrs. Mendel and Sarah Raskin, Rabbi Tzemach Raskin, and Rabbi Levi Naparstek.
Over 4,000 attendees enjoyed a sunny day as 20 vehicles, including car and truck floats, proudly displayed Mivtzoyim themes prepared by Yeshiva and Zal. The parade was led by the Grade 6 Marching Band, coordinated by Mr. Avi Tansky, Shalom Bear Silberstein, and Shmuly Cohen, with Mrs. Adel Zirkind overseeing the parents’ committee.
The Chaya Mushka Seminary played a key role in coordinating all the signs and balloons. Attendees were treated to snacks and a program featuring professional entertainers, including the Nacho Circus and Fredolini the Clown.
The event also included a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatable games, an open barbecue, cotton candy, and freeze pops for all.
A special thank you goes to Chaverim and Hatzalah of Montreal for their assistance at the parade.
