Monsey Cheder Boys Learn Shmita Hands-On

Boys from the second grade of Cheder Chabad Monsey, together with their fathers, had a hands-on learning experience about shmita, with a visit to a local farm.

Boys from the second grade of Cheder Chabad Monsey, together with their fathers, had a hands-on learning experience about shmita, with a visit to a local farm.

On Sunday morning, the boys and their fathers loaded charter buses to head on the trip. During the ride, the fathers schepped nachas from the boys as they davened on the bus.

At the farm, fathers and sons learned hilchos shmita, and then got a tour of the farm, had a tracker ride , fed the animals, followed by a picnic lunch, and ending the trip with a grand father-son soccer game.

The organizers thanked the Sandhaus family for serving fruits and drinks
