‘Mivtza Matzah Across America’ Sees Massive Response, Final Day to Order

Just over a week after its launch, “Mivtza Matzah Across America” has already seen an overwhelming response, with over 500 orders placed from across the United States.
Yidden from all walks of life—Lubavitch, Litvishe, and Chassidishe—have been taking part, sending Shmurah Matzah to friends, family, acquaintances, and even chance encounters. Orders have been shipped nationwide, reaching communities on the West Coast, including California and Arizona, as well as Florida, Chicago, and cities and towns across the country.
Participants have shared how the initiative has transformed the Rebbe’s Mivtza Matzah into something more practical and accessible than ever before. What was once difficult due to logistics or lack of opportunity has now become as simple as placing an order in moments.
One woman described meeting a fellow Yid while waiting in line at a store. When she offered to send Matzah, the individual hesitated, assuming it would be complicated. Standing right there, she placed the order on the spot—ensuring that Shmurah Matzah would arrive directly at their home.
In another case, a young man from Florida, who travels frequently and has built connections with Yidden across the country, has been using the platform to send Matzah to contacts he met over the years, turning past encounters into present-day mitzvah opportunities.
Beyond the orders themselves, the initiative has also brought strong local involvement. Bochurim from area yeshivos, along with cheder children, have been actively participating in packing the Matzah boxes, giving them a hands-on role in the mivtza.
This effort is in addition to local distribution in Rockland County, where more than 300 boxes of Matzah are being given out to residents in the area.
With requests continuing to pour in, organizers emphasize that today, Wednesday, is the final day to place orders. Those who still wish to take part are urged to do so before the deadline.
