A new edition of the Tanya was printed in the Costa del Este neighborhood of Panama City on Monday, Beis Nissan.

The Tanya was printed in a Mitzva Tank, which was recently purchased as part of the new organization “Mitzva Tank Panama,” led by shliach Rabbi Shlomo Poliwoda and Esther Kamhaji (Poliwoda).

Arranging the printing were Rabbi Poliwoda and bochurim Ber Chaim Arcusin and Mendel Lapidus. This was the first time that a Tanya was printed in the neighborhood.

In 5742, the Rebbe called for the Tanya to be printed every place where Yidden live. Since then, over 7,000 editions of the Tanya have been printed in thousands of locations across the globe.
