Miami’s Lubavitch Educational Center announced its closure beginning this Sunday 19 Adar, March 15, after consulting with rabbonim and medical professionals. Affected are all boys’ and girls’ school divisions, preschool through Yeshiva Gedola.
“This decision is primarily to limit the spread of the virus and thus saving lives,” Rabbi Benjy Korf wrote to parents.
The school also mentioned its plans to operate a virtual learning experience for students. “We anticipate it to be ready for roll out to our student body this coming Tuesday,” Rabbi Korf said.
