On Pesach Sheni, bochurim and hanhala of the Yeshiva Gedolah of Miami took a trip to the Beis Hamikdash with the help of special virtual reality technology.
On Sunday, Pesach Sheini, The Yeshiva Gedolah of Miami had the opportunity to view a virtual reality tour of the Bais Hamikdash. During Seder on Sunday, the yeshiva took a break from its regular Seder Iyun to learn about the Bais Hamikdash.
The Rebbe famously spoke about how learning about the Bais Hamikdash hastens its rebuilding. The Bochurim spent quality time learning different components of the Bais Hamikdash and the Avodah of the Kohanim.
“It’s a choiv for all to see this tour as it allows you to experience Bemuchash the Bais Hamikdash,” said the Rosh Yeshiva Harav Y. L. Schapiro.
“It gives every Talmid and truthfully all who watch it a feeling of yearning for the rebuilding of the Bais Hamikdash and a desire to spend the time studying the details of the Bais Hamikdash,” said Rabbi Chaim Stern, the Menahel of the Yeshiva.
The Bochurim walked away on Pesach Sheini wowed by the Virtual Reality experience. “It really gave me the feeling that I was there experiencing the Bais Hamikdash in person. It was knowledgeable and made everything I learned about the Bais Hamikdash vivid,” said one of the Talmidim.
