Menorah Parade and Lighting Illuminates Brighton Beach

The annual menorah parade organized by F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach brought Chanuka light and cheer to thousands of Jews living in Brooklyn’s Russian-speaking neighborhoods.

The annual menorah parade organized by F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach brought Chanuka light and cheer to thousands of Jews living in Brooklyn’s Russian-speaking neighborhoods.

The event was arranged by shluchim to Brighton Beach Rabbi Hershel Okonov and his sons Rabbi Avraham Okonov and Rabbi Dovid Okonov.

The parade was followed by a public menorah lighting at F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach’s Jewish Russian Community Center and a shul Chanuka party.
