A seudas mitzvah and chassidisher farbrengen at the Beis Menachem Shul in Boro Park followed the Hachnasas Sefer Torah in memory of Reb Yoel Kahn.
The fully catered seudah was attended by members of the shul, Boro Park community members, prominent local rabbonim, and mashpi’im from Crown Heights.
The seudah continued into a farbrengen, led by Rabbi Leibel Altein, head of Heichal Menachem, and Rabbi Aaron Dovid Gancz, renowned mechanech and maggid shiur in the Morristown Yeshiva.
The two shared memories of Reb Yoel, who spent countless hours teaching Chassidus in the very same shul in Boro Park and other locations. They also shared teachings of his from his decades of educating tens of thousands in the study of Chassidus and from his work as a chozer and maniach of the Rebbe’s Torah, as well as the chief editor of Sefer Hoerchim.
