The theme of years Kinus differs slightly from many in the past in that it will concentrate on what a mechanech needs in order to maximize his potential as a great teacher. To be as affective as he can the mechanech to be properly prepared, to have all the tools he needs and to have the support of the school and the parents. He needs to have the skills to be able to reach and inspire his students.
To address these issues the Vaad HaKinus is working to bring in outstanding presenters, mashpiim and professionals.
“The kinus will also feature special sub-kinusim for Chabad day schools and chadorim so that mechanchim in these mosdos can concentrate on issues unique to them” said Rabbi Nochem Kaplan, menahel of the Chinuch Office.
“Chabad has more than 90 elementary schools in the US that span the gamut between schools in small communities that enroll many children from families on the road to observance of mitzvos, to small chadorim catering exclusively to the children of shluchim. We need to help them all meet their varied needs” Kaplan said.
