Maor Banned From WhatsApp Mid Campaign

Maor director Rabbi Chanoch Chaskind was shocked this morning to discover that the WhatsApp number used to send out the popular MyMaor videos to thousands of children was banned by the powerful social media platform.

When Maor director Rabbi Chanoch Chaskind arrived at the Maor offices in Crown Heights this morning to run the second day of the organization’s Partners campaign, he was shocked to discover that 1-347-687-8770, the WhatsApp number used to send out the popular MyMaor videos to thousands of children around the world, was banned by the powerful social media platform.

“One of the reasons we are developing a new app” says Rabbi Chaskind, “is to prevent exactly such problems where our ability to transmit the Rebbe’s sichos to the world can be impeded by third-party apps.”

“Gam zu letova” he says, “as this event that happened b’Hashgochco Protis today out of all days, shows how necessary and crucial it is that Maor operate on an independently run app.”

Let’s make this happen,” Rabbi Chaskind emphasizes. “Go to Maor.org or call/message: 718-687-8900 to donate.

You can also join one of the partner tracks to get lots of value back.“This added value,” he continues, “is another reason the website and app is being developed. The new Maor app will also unlock the entirety of the Maor Video Library and many other features that will turn the Maor Hiskashrus experience into a better one for all our users, young and old.”

Please donate and spread the word maor.org
