Magnificent Mikvah Inaugurated at Brunoy Yeshiva

A new spacious and magnificent mikvah, featuring forty showers and an extra-large bor tevilah, was inaugurated at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Brunoy, France, ensuring comfortable and orderly use for the yeshiva’s talmidim.

Built to a high standard in an exceptionally spacious area, the new mikvah was designed to accommodate hundreds of bochurim simultaneously. The facility features forty showers and an extra-large bor tevilah, ensuring comfortable and orderly use for the yeshiva’s students.

The construction of the mikvah was generously sponsored by two yeshiva alumni—who are also parents of alumni—R’ Moshe Dov Aish and R’ Chaim Hillel Brodovitch. They dedicated this gift to the yeshiva as an expression of hakaras hatov (gratitude) for the education they received there.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the yeshiva’s bochurim, administrators Rabbi Yitzchok Nemenov and Rabbi Mendel Gurevitch, Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, Head Shliach to Paris Rabbi Mendel Azimov, Head Secretary Rabbi Shimon Lasry, as well as numerous shluchim and family members.

Rabbi Shmuel Brodovitch, director of the Shiur Alef department and brother of donor R’ Chaim Hillel Brodovitch, served as the emcee for the event.

Addresses were delivered by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, yeshiva administrator Rabbi Mendel Gurevitch, and both of the donors.

In their speeches, the benefactors emphasized the tremendous zechus of giving back to the yeshiva where they grew and developed—the very place that educated them to be Chassidim and mekushar to the Rebbe. Their contribution serves as a testament of gratitude to the institution that shaped their lives.

The event was enhanced by Chassidishe niggunim and chazzanus performed by Talmid Hashliach Shneur Zalman Baumgarten, elevating the warm and Chassidishe atmosphere.

The highlight of the ceremony was the ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of the dedication plaque, an honor bestowed upon the donors. The formal event was followed by a seudas mitzvah and a Chassidishe farbrengen joined by the large crowd.

The temimim and the yeshiva administration expressed their profound appreciation to the donors for their generosity, which will greatly enhance yeshiva life and strengthen the Chassidishe hanhaga among the bochurim.
