Machon Stam Offers Virtual Tracking System

The new ‘Track My Stam’ system allows you to check on the status of your mezuzos and tefillin as they’re being examined, get a snapshot of the ksav plus a quick education on any repairs needed.

Ever wondered what your tefillin and mezuzos look like inside? Or what’s going on behind the scenes as they’re being checked this Elul?

Machon Stam is proud to offer Track My Stam – a virtual system that enables you to follow the progress of your tefillin and mezuzos as they’re being examined.

How does it work?

As soon as your tefillin are dropped off at Machon Stam, they are assigned a unique tracking number to enter into an online system. Using the number, you can check on progress, view pictures of the ksav and receive information on any repairs that need to be made.

The system is not just for convenience and interest, but also for education. Any issues found with your Sta’m are photographed and displayed in your account, alongside explanations on why they need to be fixed.

Track My Sta’m also saves time. As soon as your tefillin are ready for pickup, the sofer simply clicks a button and an alert is sent directly to your phone.

“People love it,” Rabbi Yitzchok Raskin of Machon Stam, told Anash.org. “It’s efficient and seamless, and we get great feedback about it.”
