Lubavitcher Man Attacked in Random Assault

A disturbed man violently assaulted a Lubavitcher as he was walking on Troy Avenue in Crown Heights. The attacker was arrested with the help of Shomrim and the NYPD.

A disturbed individual violently assaulted a Lubavitcher man as he was walking down the street in Crown Heights.

The violent attack accused on Wednesday, May 17th, on the corner of Caroll Street and Troy Avenue at approximately 7:00 PM.

The perpetrator approached his victim and randomly punched him in the face. Thankfully, he was not injured and he was able to pursue his attacker until Shomrim arrived.

Thanks to a quick response by Crown Heights Shomrim the attacker was arrested a few blocks away on Eastern Parkway between Utica and Rochester by the 77th precinct.
