Los Angeles Chabad Schools Join Together for Yud Alef Nissan Rally

On Tuesday, Yud Alef Nissan, the Children of Cheder Menachem and Bais Chaya Mushka together with siblings and friends celebrated the Rebbe’s 120th Birthday with a grand rally at which over 400 boys and girls participated.

On Tuesday, Yud Alef Nissan, the Children of Cheder Menachem and Bais Chaya Mushka together with siblings and friends celebrated the Rebbe’s 120th Birthday with a grand rally at which over 400 boys and girls participated.

The rally was led by Rabbi Mendel Duchman, Director of Kol Yaakov Yehuda, and organised by Rabbi Sholom Heidingsfeld, Director of Tzivos Hashem at Cheder Menachem, and Rabbi Dovid Blasberg and Mrs. Rochel Charytan, principals of Cheder Menachem and Bais Chaya Mushka Elementary Schools, under the direction of Rabbi Mendel Greenbaum, Menahel of the Mosdos.

The children said the 12 Pesukim, heard a story of the Rebbe by Rabbi Zalmy Hecht, watched a video of the Rebbe (part of the Mega Connection Point, which children then were given the information to continue watching with their families at home), said the Rebbe’s new Kapitel from the special Kapitel Cards sent by JEM, led by Rabbi  Zalman Munitz, watched the amazing gift of Tanya and Mishnayos Baal Peh gifted to the Rebbe by children all over the world with a focus on the achievements and gifts of the talmidim and talmidos of Cheder Menachem and Bais Chaya Mushka. The children also enjoyed a juggling show.

Organizers thanked Rabbi and Mrs. Shmuel Fogelman for sponsoring the prizes that were raffled off at the end of the program.

After the program, which concluded with giving Tzedakah, all the assembled gathered outside to watch the Mitzvah Tanks head off to different areas of Los Angeles to spread Mitzvah Matzah and all the other Mivtzoyim in honor of the Rebbe’s 120th Birthday.
