True to its mission, and as in years past, Keren HaChomesh continues its work below the radar, quietly assisting families in need–specifically single parent homes–with financial aid. In the past month, it has disbursed more than $150,000.00.

“These funds answer a critical need of a demographic that so often is overlooked,” said Rabbi Shmaya Krinsky, of the Keren HaChomesh fund. In a family-oriented community such as ours, he explained, preparing for Pesach can be extremely stressful for single-parent families. “With inflation and the high cost of Pesach food staples, we need to take note of struggling families, many who may be uncomfortable coming forward with their needs.”

If you are in need of assistance, or know of a neighbor who needs financial help preparing for Pesach, please email: info@kerenhachomesh.org.

Keren HaChomesh, was founded by the Rebbe in honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka on the very first day of Shiva for the Rebbetzin, and named the new Charitable fund himself. To contribute to the fund, please visit: www.kerenhachomesh.org.
