London Solidarity Mission Boosted Morale in the South

A large group from Chabad of West Hampstead in London spent several days visiting soldiers and residents in the southern region, bringing them emotional support and tangible gifts.

In a heartwarming display of solidarity and generosity, a group from Chabad of West Hampstead recently embarked on a special tour of Eretz Yisroel, bringing a wealth of support and encouragement to soldiers and residents in the southern region.

Led by Rabbi Dovid Katz, Rabbi Menachem Vogel, and Rabbi Dov Katzel, approximately 40 men set out on a mission that left a lasting impact on everyone involved. The journey began with visits to the sites of Kever Rochel and the Me’aras Hamachpela, setting the tone for meaningful interactions and connections that followed.

During their stay, the group extended their support to soldiers by hosting them for a warm and welcoming Shabbos meal. They also reached out to residents of Judea and Samaria, spreading joy and solidarity through the distribution of thoughtful gifts and essential items, ranging from computers to warm coats and fresh snacks.

On Sunday, the group toured various IDF bases in the south, where they engaged with soldiers on a personal level to understand their challenges and boost their morale. Armed with suitcases full of gifts, including games and heaters, they continued their visit to the police station and Chabad House in Sderot, followed by a poignant tour of Kfar Aza and the Re’im parking lot.

The expedition concluded with a special barbecue for soldiers at the Gaza Division Base, bringing joy to approximately 1,500 soldiers.
