Local Kashrus Experts Lecture at Baltimore Hakhel Event

A grand Kinus Torah and Hakhel event was held at Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore with addresses by local Rabbonim and Yeshiva students.

A grand Kinus Torah and Hakhel event was held at Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore and attended by Anash and the greater Jewish community, along with the Bochurim of Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore.

The kinus was MC’d by Rabbi Levi Nejar, Menahel of Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore, and addressed by local rabbonim and Yeshiva students.

Rabbi Dovid Heber, a foremost expert in the field of kosher pharmaceuticals, and Rav of Khal Ahavas Yisroel Tzemach Tzedek, spoke on the topic of Mincha Gedola. Rabbi Heber also shared his experiences being by the Rebbe in 5741 on sukkos and remembering the koch of Hakhel.

Rabbi Sholom Tendler, a Kashrus Administrator at the STAR-K, spoke about the halachos of bittul and how they are applied in modern-day Kashrus situations.

Rabbi Moshe Slavaticki, the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore, spoke on the topic of Mitzvos D’rabbanan.

Hatomim Mendel Heber spoke on the difference between the nefesh habahamis of a Jew and that of a non-Jew. Hatomim Peretz Mochkin spoke on the topic of Hakhel.
