Lively Learning, Spirited Trivia Define Montreal Avos Ubanim
Over a hundred boys filled the Yeshiva Shul for a lively Avos Ubanim kickoff in Montreal, where energetic learning, fast-paced trivia, and a special raffle for a Chumash used by the Rebbe made the evening unforgettable for fathers and sons alike.
Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Montreal enjoyed a beautiful kickoff of Motzei Shabbos Avos Ubanim, this past Motzei Shabbos Parshas Toldos.
The atmosphere in the Yeshiva Shul was simply electric. Over one hundred boys came with their fathers, uncles, and zaidys, and the sense of achdus and excitement was truly palpable. Together, they filled the room with lively learning and warm camaraderie.
After the learning part was over, the program continued with the 12 Pesukim, each class taking turns to lead a pasuk with their fathers supporting them, and the class that showed the most energy earned a special prize. From there, we moved into the “Riddle of the Week,” and a brand-new weekly trivia segment focused on the chassidishe month of Kislev. Fathers and sons worked together, racing the clock to answer as many questions as they could in just 60 seconds.
We wrapped up with a series of raffles, culminating in a grand raffle in honor of the chassidishe Yom Tov of Beis Kislev, the return of the seforim to 770. In this special highlight, Rabbi Yossi Wilanski raffled off a unique opportunity for one lucky child to learn from a Chumash that the Rebbe had used!
Thank you to all who joined and to our generous sponsors for making this kickoff such a memorable and meaningful evening. A special thank you to Rabbis Mendy Bresinger and Mendy Wilansky for running the program.
Thank you to the Bolonin Family for the great photos.
