Levaya of Rabbi Yosef Itkin Continues in New York

The levaya of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok (Fitche) Itkin, who served as a mashpia of the Chabad community in Pittsburgh, and administrator of Vaad Hakashrus Pittsburgh, passed 770 on Tuesday afternoon.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nechama Itkin, and their children Chana Mondshine – Smolensk, Russia; Mrs. Shaina Stolik – Lantana, FL; Tzivi Kivman – Mansfield, MA: Rabbi Avrahom Baruch Itkin – Kingston, NY; Rabbi Chaim Itkin – Pittsburgh, PA; Chaya Posner – Thornhill, Ontario; Alte Raskin – Brooklyn, NY; Goldie Ohana – Vestal, NY; Rivkie Raichik – Los Angeles, CA; Devorah Leah Itkin; and Menucha Itkin.

He is also survived by his siblings Mrs. Feigei Rapaport – Mequon, WI; Mrs. Shana Tiechtel – Crown Heights; Rabbi Leibel Itkin – Scranton, PA; and Mrs. Chana Geisinsky – Great Neck, NY.

He was predeceased by his brothers Rabbi Zalman Itkin of Hamilton, Canada, and Rabbi Mendel Itkin of Sydney, Australia.

The family will be sitting Shiva at the Tiechtel home – 405 Crown St., Brooklyn, NY, 11225.
