One Hour Left to Help Crown Heights’ “Sister City”

The village of Kfar Chabad, capital of Chabad in Eretz Yisroel, can aptly be described as the ‘sister city’ of Crown Heights. Now, they are turning to the residents of Crown heights for help.

The village of Kfar Chabad can aptly be described as the ‘sister city’ of Crown Heights.

Just as Crown Heights is the headquarters of Chabad worldwide, the village of Kfar Chabad is the capital of Chabad in Eretz Yisroel, with its own 770, the central Chabad yeshiva of Eretz Yisroel, and the seat of the central institutions.

In the past few months, hundreds of residents have fallen on hard times, due the coronavirus pandemic and the loss of many jobs. A campaign has begun to supply Yom Tov necessities for hundreds of Kfar Chabad families while preserving their dignity.

Now, they are turning to the residents of Crown Heights, their “sister city” for help.
