According to a time-honored Chabad custom, every Rosh Chodesh one studies a few pesukim from the chapter of Tehillim that corresponds to his age, together with Rashi and, if one so chooses, other commentaries as well. [Kovetz Michtavim, Tehillim Ohel Yosef, p. 214.]
In addition to this minhag of learning your own chapter, Chassidim learn each Rosh Chodesh from the Rebbe’s kapital Tehillim, this year being kapital 119.
