Kinus Unites Australia and New Zealand Shluchim

Over eighty shluchim from across Australia and New Zealand gathered together for a Kinus Hashluchim this past week. Joining them was former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau.

The Australian and New Zealand Kinus Hashluchim conference took place last Wednesday and Thursday, 12th and 13th July.

The conference, which is always special, was even more meaningful than usual being that it took place this year in the year of Hakhel – a time when the Rebbe stressed the significance of Yidden gathering together to give each other chizzuk.

Over eighty shluchim from across Australia and New Zealand gathered together over the course of 2 days to discuss ideas and share inspiration with each other.

One of the highlights of the conference was the banquet dinner, held at the Crown conference centre. The food was delicious, and the speeches inspirational and uplifting.

The guest of the Kinus, who also addressed the crowd at the banquet, was former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau.

Thanks were given to Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Gutnick for his generous support of this event, as well as Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch in New York.

“We wish the dedicated shluchim continued success in their important work. May we merit to greet Moshiach speedily in our days!” organizers said.
