On Sunday, the RTC Chabad in San Francisco hosted a Kinus Torah, organized by Boruch Michaelson, bringing together community members for an afternoon of Torah study and inspiration.
The event featured a range of insightful presentations from local Rabbinic leaders. Rabbi Yakov Barber, a Shliach at Chabad of Cole Valley and Rebbe at Bais Menachem Yeshiva Day School, delved into the first two Mishnayos in Pirkei Avos, exploring the significance of “Kibel” vs “Mesoro”. Rabbi Yisroel Gerlitsky, a Shliach at Chabad of Now Valley and also a Rebbe at Bais Menachem Yeshiva day school shared a Sicha from the Rebbe on the distinction between “Harchek mishochen ro” and “Al tischaber lorosho”. Additionally, Rabbi Mendel Mishulovin, Shliach at Chabad of Corte Madera, CA, discussed the Halachic implications of “Rodef” in relation to releasing hostages.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and engage in meaningful Torah study.
