A Kinus Torah will take place today in Crown Heights to mark the birthday of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father.
The Kinus Torah will take place at Kollel Menachem, 1483 Union Street, beginning with Mincha at 7:30
Following Mincha, there will be a shiur by Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, mashpia in Oholei Torah, on the theme of the yomtov of Pesach.
The second shiur will be by Rabbi Berel Levine, Chief Librarian of the Chabad Library, who will talk about playing with nuts on Pesach.
The final shiur will be given by Rabbi Dovid Dubov, on an explanation from the Rebbe’s father regarding Mordechai and Esther and their connection to Pesach.
Followed by Maariv at 8:30.
The Kinus will be followed by a farbrengen marking 18 Nissan, the birthday of R’ Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father, and the day of the Rebbe’s Bris.
