“Ophir, a proud soldier of CKids Tzivos Hashem from Leeds, England, nominates YOU to join in the CKids Chanukah Frenzy Contest! By lighting menorah with your friends or family and fulfilling special bonus missions, you can be entered into a contest to win special prizes for each night of Chanukah.”
This year CKids has launched an exciting initiative for all children across all Hebrew Schools. Each day of Chanukah, kids around the world will nominate each other to add in Mitzvos and acts of kindness.
Through completing missions such as lighting menorah, hebrew school children can win amazing prizes. These incredible prizes include a sleek electric scooter, a cool smart watch and a state of the art keyboard!
In addition, every night will have its own special bonus mission. These special missions are specifically designed to bring together families and add the light of Chanukah into each home. From having a lively dreidel game to a grand latke party these missions are sure to bring excitement for all.
Sarah, a member of CKids Tzivos Hashem, is excited about the contest and has already invited some of her friends for a grand donut party. “My Mom has already bought jelly and chocolate filling for the donuts. I’m also really hoping for that cotton candy machine. That would be awesome!!”
This contest is another development from the team at CKids Tzivos Hashem, coordinated by Ms. Sarah Chein of CKids at Merkos 302.
“All of the bonus missions were designed to be interactive activities involving parents and children” says Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal of CKids International. “Celebrating Chanukah and doing the mitzvos of Chanukah should go beyond Hebrew School and enrich the home and entire family.”
“Through Jewish children lighting menorah and doing the mitzvos of Chanukah they are bringing light into their homes and communities”. says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, executive director of Merkos 302. “We hope this feeling of Jewish pride will stay with them and have a lasting influence throughout their life.”
Here’s how to join the CKids Chanukah Frenzy:
Visit the CKids website: Each day, go to ckids.org/holidayfrenzy to discover the bonus mission of the day.
Light the menorah with your family: Lighting the menorah and saying the brachos gets you your first entry into that night’s raffle.
Complete the bonus mission: Embark on these challenges with your family in order to receive an additional raffle entry.
Fill out the form online: Make sure that you complete your Mitzvah Mission Submission and win those prizes!
