As Ckids Gan Israel enters its third year there is a special vibe of excitement and anticipation in the air. A scholarship fund was launched to help cover costs of some campers that can’t afford.
What began as a dream fueled by the Rebbe’s vision and belief in the power of summer camp and its ability to bring about a profound, lasting impact on the campers and their families has morphed into a camp approaching its third year with a packed house of 100 campers!
Baruch Hashem, the camp had outgrown its original grounds and will be moving to an exquisite new campsite for the upcoming summer. The campgrounds are located in beautiful and scenic North Carolina (bussing will be provided from different locations throughout Florida).
The grounds feature an astounding array of on site recreational activities that the campers will be able to enjoy throughout the summer. Zipline, rope course, a lake in which the campers can boat, swim and delight in the massive inflatable slides and games. There is also a jr. olympic sized pool, extensive sports facilities, air conditioned bunk houses and main buildings and so much more!
No expense is spared to ensure that every single camper experiences an unforgettable experience and leaves feeling empowered to grow in their Yiddishkeit and become more involved in their community.
In an effort to create an environment that is available in inclusive to everyone, despite the tremendous costs associated with the creation of our top of the line program CKids Gan Israel maintains an extremely competitive tuition fee that does not nearly cover costs.
The directors, Levi & Chaya Plotkin have taken upon themselves to fundraise the difference and are in the midst of a campaign to raise the necessary funds to enable every single boy who is interested to experience the magic of a fully immersive CKids Gan Israel experience.
