The Jewish Summer Fellowship – Ivy League program has recently hired a new director, and are promising expedited acceptance to any student from Ukraine who applies.

The Jewish Summer Fellowship, formerly The Ivy League Torah Study Program, is a 6 week-long learning program geared towards college students, under the auspices of NCFJE. Nestled in the New York countryside, the Jewish Summer Fellowship is a unique summer study program that provides undergraduate and graduate college students with the opportunity to explore Judaism in a warm, welcoming, and invigorating environment.

Ahead of the upcoming 2022 season, The Jewish Summer Fellowship announced the hire of a new director for this summer’s program. The new director, Rabbi Yitzhak Hecht, has been hired to co-ordinate this annual program which is designed to give any student currently enrolled in college or university a monetary stipend to learn Torah for six weeks during the summer.

Another change for this year will be a special focus on refuges. In light of the ongoing war in Ukraine, The Jewish Summer Fellowship Program will be making special consideration for Ukrainians. The program will be giving any student in or originally from the Ukraine expedited acceptance.

This six week intense Torah learning program is designed for anyone currently enrolled in college/university, or just graduated. Students receive a monetary stipend upon completing the program.

The program is still accepting students. Applications can be made through the website at myJSF.org/apply.
