With the Rebbe’s Brochois, OYYL has grown into a beloved school community that focuses on a truly authentic Chabad education. OYYL’s passionate, special team of educators are trained, capable, innovative and never stop learning. They provide and support Chinuch al Taharas Hakodesh based on the Rebbe’s Vision and Directives.
Everything can be found in the Torah. While OYYL explores academic studies that measure the effectiveness of various educational models, OYYL only incorporates principles and practices that are deemed authentic from a Torah perspective.
Our students receive the highest caliber of education, adequately preparing them for their future. For example, they learn general knowledge through the prism of the Torah. As the famous quote in Pirkei Ovois states, “הֲפֹךְ בָּהּ וַהֲפֹךְ בָּהּ, דְּכֹלָּא בָהּ” – “Turn it over, and [again] turn it over, for all is therein.” Since the Torah is the world’s blueprint, everything is present within it. Accordingly, by investing our efforts in studying the Torah and the performance of Mitzvos, we have all the tools that we need to navigate the world around us.
This year, OYYL has a special opportunity to purchase two buildings for our boys’ and girls’ divisions. OYYL plans to eventually expand by creating a community center to further spread our message of creating and living authentically. With the blessing of our Rebbe, we are ready to move forward in unity as we embark upon the next chapter of OYYL’s existence.
From November 27th through the 30th, Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch of Crown Heights will launch a 72 hour campaign to continue providing an authentic Torah education to our precious children and playing a vital role in building an authentic Torah community, with the timeless wisdom of our Rebbe.
