This past weekend, the Chabad Israeli community of Orange County, California, under the leadership of Rabbi Rafi Dadon, experienced a special and uplifting Shabbat as renowned commentator and lecturer Eliyahu Yossian, a leading researcher of Iran and the Middle East, joined the community for a full Shabbos program.

The Shabbos opened on Friday evening with a festive communal dinner attended by many members of the community. On Shabbos morning, Yossian joined the prayers and the communal meal, where he shared his insights in an intimate and warm setting. The highlight came on Motzei Shabbos with a fascinating lecture on the situation in Iran, developments in the Middle East, and their implications for Israel and the Jewish world.

Yossian, known for his sharp geopolitical analyses, presented the audience with an updated and in-depth overview, focusing on the consequences for Israel’s security and Jewish life worldwide.

Rabbi Rafi Dadon concluded: “This Shabbos strengthened our community’s sense of unity and mission.
