Rambam Hospital Hosts Siyum with Notable Guests
The Rambam Health Care Campus, a teaching hospital in Chaifa, hosted a unique Siyum HaRambam, attended by many leading rabbis, public figures, and government officials, and hosted by media personality Yedidya Meir.
Hundreds of residents of Haifa and the surrounding area gathered for the central celebration of the completion of the 45th daily study cycle of the Rambam across all three tracks, and the beginning of the 46th cycle, in accordance with the Rebbe’s request that everyone participate in the Siyum HaRambam.
The festive evening, the first of its kind, was a prominent and impressive community event, organized by Chabad of Haifa, led by Shliach Rabbi Yehuda Ginzburg. The celebration was lavishly arranged, with full catering and a festive atmosphere befitting the occasion.
The event was honored by the presence of the Rabbi of the Ministry of Health, Rabbi Pinchas Frankel; Rabbi of the Medical Center, Rabbi Hennich Pietrkowski; the Chief Rabbi of Chaifa, Rabbi Daniel Adri; Rabbi of Kiryat Yam, Rabbi Yosef Abriki; and the Rebbe’s Shluchim in Chaifa and the Krayot, led by Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Oirchman and Rabbi Yosef Avraham Pizem, Rabbi of Kiryat Shmuel, as well as other prominent rabbis and public figures.
The evening was held in cooperation with the Chaifa Religious Council, headed by Rabbi Dror David Amos, who presented a copy of the “Rambam Hashalem” to whoever committed to joining the Rambam study.
A special memento about the Rambam and the Rebbe’s directive of daily learning was also distributed to all participants.
The Siyum was additionally organized in collaboration with the “Achdut” organization in Chaifa, led by City Council member Rabbi Avraham Stern.
The program was hosted by media personality Yedidya Meir, with a musical performance by Shmulik Sofer.
The event was produced by the Rebbe’s Shliach, Rabbi Tanchum Rivkin, and the Rebbe’s Shliach to the Rambam Hospital, Rabbi Shmuel Turkow.
