The IDF has renewed the fighting in Gaza, after the Hamas terror organization fired 50 rockets at Israel in violation of the truce agreement.

The IDF says that since 7 a.m., following Hamas’s violation of the ceasefire, it has carried out airstrikes against some 200 targets across the Gaza Strip.

Three IDF soldiers were moderately injured and two lightly injured after a mortar fell near Nirim in southern Israel. The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.

Several of the strikes took place in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis and Rafah. The IDF says ground troops meanwhile demolished structures that were booby-trapped with explosives, tunnel shafts, rocket launch sites, and other infrastructure belonging to Hamas.

The IDF is also dropping leaflets on Khan Yunis warning residents that the central Gaza area is a combat zone and they should evacuate to Rafah in southern Gaza. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is believed to be hiding in Khan Yunis.
