Hundreds of rabbonim participated in the annual halachic conference of the Lemaan Yilmedu organization at Bais Rivka in Kfar Chabad.
The event was addressed by Chief Rabbi David Lau, Rabbi Yitzchak Aizik Landa, Chief Rabbi of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Yochanan Gurary, Chief Rabbi of Holon and member of the Beis Din Rabbanei Chabad, and Rabbi Pinchas Altheus, director of the marriage bureau of the rabbanut of Holon.
“We have been preparing for this event for many months,” says Rabbi Yisrael Mel. “When the war broke out, we wondered what adjustments should be made and if the event should take place at all. But since the essence of the event is Torah, and as we know that Torah protects us, it was decided that there is nothing better than to hold the event at this time.”
