75 Years after the memorable and victorious D-Day, Rabbi Motti and Zlata Lewin, Shluchim to the city of Caen, France held the first Menorah lighting at a Normandy military camp.

The D-Day Academy graciously hosted the lighting at their hands-on exhibition.

A great crowd gathered to commemorate the momentous occasion.
Mayor Thomas Paulmier addressed the crowd with inspiring words.

The event was celebrated with lively dancing and fresh donuts. Following that, young and old enjoyed a ride in jeeps that were used during the war.
