Hanhala of Chabad Yeshivos Join Together for Melave Malka

Over 200 chavrei hanhala of Chabad Yeshivos across Eretz Yisroel gathered for a melave malka in Kfar Chabad to rejuvenate and strategize how to keep on improving their vital and holy work.

Over 200 chavrei hanhala of Chabad Yeshivos across Eretz Yisroel gathered for a melave malka in Kfar Chabad to rejuvenate and strategize how to keep on improving their vital and holy work.

Roshei yeshivos, mashpi’im, administrators, menahalim and maggidei shiurim all joined for the event, hosted and organized by the ‘Karmi Sheli’ organization, which serves as an internal forumn for hanhala members.

The melave malka began with the kapitel of the Rebbe, read by Reb Zalman Gopin, head mashpia at the Kfar Chabad Yeshiva, followed by a few words praising the initiative. Harav Moshe Havlin, rosh yeshiva of the Kiryat Gat Yeshiva, spoke next, sharing unique ma’anos he received from the Rebbe. Harav Yosef Yitzchok Belinov, rov in Bnei Brak and rosh yeshiva in Kfar Chabad spoke about Hakhel, and how the melave malka fulfilled the Rebbe’s directive to gather during the year.

Rabbi Menachem Kenig, menahel ruchni of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lod, also spoke, and the keynote speech was delivered by Rabbi Yitzchok Goldberg, rosh yeshiva of Tomchei Tmimim Migdal Ha’emek. The event was emceed by Rabbi Yaakov Katan, menahel ruchni of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim El’ad.

The participants also enjoyed a special video prepared by JEM for the event and a multimedia presentation illustrating how their work in yeshivos affects generations of chassidim. Throughout the melave malka, niggunim were sung by singer R’ Simcha Friedman.

Towards the conclusion of the event, Rabbi Menachem Halperin, chairman of ‘Karmi Sheli’, presented the goals of the organization to enhance the collaboration between the yeshivos, and introduced a number of initiatives the organization would be launching in the coming months.
