Hachnosas Sefer Torah in Boro Park Will Honor Reb Yoel’s Memory

A new Sefer Torah, dedicated in memory of Reb Yoel Kahn a”h, will be welcomed at Beis Menachem of Boro Park on Wednesday, Chai Elul. 

A new Torah will be dedicated in Boro Park in memory of Reb Yoel Kahn a”h, the chozer of the Rebbe and the foremost teacher of Chassidus in the generation.

The Torah, which was concluded on Reb Yoel’s yahrzeit in his Crown Heights home, will be dedicated to the Beis Menachem Shul in Boro Park, where Reb Yoel spent countless hours spreading the light of Chassidus.

The Torah will leave from the Boro Park home of Rabbi Leibel Altein, the mashpia of Beis Menachem and head of Heichal Menachem, at 1572 52nd St.. and be accompanied by a procession and lively music to Beis Menachem at 4814 16th Ave.

The hachnasa will be followed by joyous hakafos in Beis Menachem, followed by a seudas mitzvah.
