Grant Will Donate a New Chabad House Mikvah

An anonymous donor is committing to fund a new Mikvah in honor of their mother at a Chabad House and is now taking applications for the project. The offer has been verified by Anash.org.

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for communities to establish a new mikveh, thanks to a generous sponsoring family providing seed funding. We are looking for shluchim who already own a preexisting structure/location and can add the mikveh onto their premises.

Eligibility and Application:

To participate, please submit your interest between ו-ח תשרי, תשפ”ה- October 8-10, 2025, using the provided application form.  The family will work hard to announce a winner within 2 weeks of the application process.

Selection Criteria:

The sponsors will review all applications and select one based on:

1. Number of families committed to monthly mikveh use
2. Projected construction cost
3. A brief submission (1-2 paragraphs) describing:
    – Your shlichus and community’s response to the mikveh initiative
    – Anticipated community impact

Funding Terms:

Once a location is selected, the chosen shliach’s community must launch a crowdfunding campaign within 90 days  (e.g., Charidy, Raisethon, GoFundMe, etc.) to raise 25% of additional the construction cost.  Once a contract is signed with your local contractor, disbursements of the grant will begin to cover supplies and labor until the project is completed.  The donors reserve the right to extend the due date for applications, although there is no guarantee that an extension will occur and it is in your best interest to apply on time.
