A grand tzeischem l’shalom event was held by the Vaad Hatmimim on Wednesday to farewell the thousands who had come to spend Tishrei 5783 by the Rebbe, and to encourage them to translate the inspiration of the month into action.

The event came following a packed month of programs, farbrengens, trips to the Ohel and more, alongside a full hachnosas orchim program, which provided room and board to the bochurim, all organized by the Vaad Hatmimim.

Addressing the tzeischem l’shalom was Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Vice-Chairman of Mekos Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Shliach Rabbi Mendel Raskin, Mashpia Rabbi Mendel Scharf, and Shliach to Thailand Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor.

For the past month, thanks to the hospitality of Vaad Hatmimim Haolami the Bochurim didn’t need to worry about a place to eat and sleep allowing them to focus on the real reason they came – to spend Tishrei with the Rebbe.

Aside from arranging hundreds of beds and feeding thousands of Bochurim every day of Tishrei, the Vaad did their utmost to enhance the ruchniyusdike environment for the Bochurim over Tishrei.

Some of the programs that the Vaad arranged over Tishrei were daily busses to and from the Ohel, Shiurim throughout the day in Nigleh and Chassidus, Panels of Zichronos from Tishrei with the Rebbe, Kovtzei Limud consisting of Maamorim, Sichos, and Yomanim along with tests on all the material with an extravagant reward system for the Bochurim who pass the test and much more.

All this allowed the Bochurim to experience Tishrei with the Rebbe in a Yeshivah atmosphere while feeling the comfort of their own homes.
