A gorgeous banquet held at Bnos Menachem’s High School for mothers and daughters celebrated the girls’ achievement in completing the new program called “V’haya Machanecha Kadosh” (VMK).
The program, which has been running in Bnos Menachem High School since the start of the year, is meant to instill within the girls an appreciation for tznius and empower them with the beauty of eidelkeit.
At the banquet, girls got up and shared their experience with the program and the impact it had on their life. The girls spoke of their newfound confidence and appreciation of being a Jewish woman and girl, and how they found tznius to be a source of bracha.
The program included joining the Maagalim learning group to study the holiness of tznius and then take on personal hachlatos. The program supported the girls on their journey, encouraging them with positive reinforcement to continue until they reached their goals. Students shared how the “Tech Check” hachlata, which involved refraining from social media and using only a filtered phone, gave them the freedom to be themselves and not be subject to outside pressures.
